Up in the north west of Africa, Marrakech the market place has story tellers, water sellers, acrobats, dancers and musicians, to keep you always entertained.

The other name that is well known of Zanzibar is the Spice Island. Zanzibar at one point created 80%of the worlds refined spices, now because it has had to change with modernisation of its country, only produces 20%. It is recommended to keep limbs covered with clothing in public, and try not to smoke or chew gum in-front of people, this is considered insulting. It is considered polite to avoid eating during daylight when Ramadan is on, even if you don’t engage in it. This will show that you respect them as a people and they are very accommodating.

For many people, Zambia is a little out of the radar scan for a holiday overseas.
