The mere mention of Penang gets people raving about their food. It’s a well-known fact that Penang homes some of the best dishes in Malaysia and some even travel all the way to Penang for a total food fest! Then there are the ones who love the sun, sea, and beach who will tell you about the wonderful times they had at the beach. The languages used in Penang are Malay, English and Hokkien. Other languages and dialects can be spoken here too but may not be as used as the first mentioned three. Most locals are friendly so don’t be afraid to approach them recommendations.
