2. State Parks – There are two main parks that you will want to check out when you are there. The parks are called Myrtle Beach State Park and Huntington Beach State Park. Myrtle Beach State Park is huge with over 350 campsites, cabins and hiking trails. Huntington Beach State Park is located on a freshwater lagoon, salt marsh and it has great nature trails.

3. Fishing – There is great number of places to fish while you are in Myrtle Beach. There are a couple of charter fishing trips that you can take. Be careful though if you plan on going fishing on a private charter, you might need some licensing to do so. However you will not need it if you are planning on going past the pier.

4. Theme Parks – There are some great places to have the theme park experience while you are there. A new theme park that is opening up this year is Freestyle Music Park, which is going to be great for families and couples.

5. Water Sports – There is a place where you can go scuba diving and see some beautiful fish all around you. There is also Windsurfing that you can try out when you are there. As well as kayaking down the rivers or ocean.
