Go on Safari Now

It is literally quite amazing to think that the summer is nearly over, I mean we havent really experience hardly any sunshine. From what I can recall, we have really only had a week or so of good solid sunshine, but people are starting to get quite nervous. They are getting anxious simply because of the fact that a lot of people love the summer and do not want to look forward to the cold winter months.

So this being said I personally believe that now is the best possible time to try and grab your self a last minute Safari deal. I have personally just now come back from a Safari, whIch I booked promptly and all I can say Is that I now feel fully relaxed and do not mind the wintertime coming on.

A lot of people tend to have the wrong perception about safaris; they think its something that is strenuous and something that will take a lot of effort. So they instead decide to go to a beach resort where they can lye around all day.

I can tell you now that if you think of a safari in this way, then you are well and truly wrong. When I went on my Safari, it was non stop, there was just so much happening. Obviously there was a little walking to do, but you are so distracted by the amazing wildlife that you do not even know you have been walking.

But yet again there is so much more to do then enjoy the great wild life. You can go and get pampered in numerous natural spas that are around, but besides from this you can also make your way to the beach and Africa has some mind blowing beaches with great white sand beaches and cool waters.

Why should you go on Safari instead of going to the Zoo?

Why should you go on holiday to Africa to indulge in a safari, when there is one right out the back door? You do have to remember that the zoo wont hold nearly as many different animals as Africa does. Comparing the both of these is the best way to come up with a clear decision.

We’ll start with the Zoo. Money probably wont be that much of an issue. Even though you don’t actually see these animals in their habitats, you are still able to see them none the less. The chance to see these animals is rare, but a zoo offers this chance to everybody, in some cases you can actually interact with these animals (probably not the dangerous ones). It isn’t exactly that far to travel either is it. Well at least the zoo is only a short drive away, a Safari could be a 10 hour flight. Even thought the zoo is a great place for kids, it is also good fun for couples or a visit on your own.

So now let’s take a look at the Safari. If you want an idea of how amazing these holidays, then consider this, they are utterly amazing, life changing and unforgettable. A Safari holiday offers people the chance to embark on a once in a lifetime adventure into the plains of the Masai Mara in Kenya or the Serengeti in Tanzania. The chance to spend a couple of weeks in Africa in the world should be snapped up by any body. Imagine the feeling of sitting in your bed knowing there are Lions or rhinos walking around outside. If you do consider splashing out the money for this you wont be disappointed, but you will have to leave the kids at home. You will hear astonishing stories that your guide will tell you about and some of them are considered luxury holidays.

Think carefully when you go to the zoo the next time, the more you see these animals in captivity the more you will want to see them in the wild, you never know you might end up wanting a Kenya safari!

Is a Safari a better option to the Zoo?

Many people will have the argument, you don’t need to fly around the world to see some animals, just drive down the road? The animals in the zoo will behave very differently to those in the wild, so you don’t really get the real thing. Well the best way to decide on one of the two is to weigh up the pros and cons of the two.

We’ll start with the Zoo. Straight away, here is something your all probably thinking, it wont be very expensive. The zoo is a great place for you to take your children and a great lace for you and the family to have a day out.

So now let’s take a look at the Safari. Well, this is where it gets difficult for some people to understand how amazing these holidays are. The Maasai Mara and the Serengeti are stunning safari locations. The chance to spend a couple of weeks in Africa in the world should be snapped up by any body. Hearing the roar of a lion may be intimidating in the wild, but is truly exciting as well. Although they are quite expensive it is worth every single penny, and it is not recommended for young children either, mainly because they like to touch things. You will hear astonishing stories that your guide will tell you about and some of them are considered luxury holidays.

Think carefully when you go to the zoo the next time, the more you see these animals in captivity the more you will want to see them in the wild, you never know you might end up wanting a Kenya safari!

Safari is the new holiday makers holiday!

Even for those that have been on holiday to a Safari location before will be interested to know where the best resorts are. Well Africa has always been the best place in the world where you can go on safari, so here are some of the best resorts.

In Kenya there is the Porini Wilderness Safari. The advantage with this place is that you book it as a Safari bundle. What’s different about this park is that it keeps you completely in touch with the environment, all of the parks are Eco – friendly. All of these camps have been built to have as little effect on the environment as possible. The guides are world renowned for being experienced and great tours; they are all accompanied with a 4X4 wheel Jeep.

This one is for those that want to see some of the most dangerous animals in the world. This is called the Maasai Mara Big Cat Safari, set in Kenya this is the place to come and see the Big Five. If you are fanatical about seeing a Lion, then this is a great location for you, this is where you are most likely to see one. You get escorted around in some large open door 4X4 jeeps, this make for a thrilling ride and experience!  Kenya Safari holidays have become th most popular in the world.

Next is a truly majestic safari, the Zambia Classic Safari. This safari crosses across two of the main national reserve parks in Zambia, the Luangwa and the Lower Zambezi and Livingstone Park. This Safari offers two of the greatest features for holiday makers. Well there is the Elephant, what an amazing animal, this is by far one of the most popular animals in the world. The biggest and most amazing of all of these features is this one, the Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Diving holidays have been very popular here for the falls have a hidden secret called the Devil’s Armchair.

Can you do your bit for the world by going on Safari?

These creatures have been going extinct or endangered for all sorts of reasons. Is there however a prevailing force that is causing these creatures to become endangered. To be honest we are the problem!

An endangered species is a term used to describe a species whose numbers have become so low it is at risk of becoming extinct. We cannot stop evolutionary change, so of course some animals will change and become extinct. However we are to blame for a lot of things. First of all when a safari was first started it was designed as a hunting party for rich people to hunt animals that were considered a thrill to catch. The animals were hunted down and killed, because of this there are few of them left in the world.

We do not hunt all that many animals now as we did say a hundred years ago (mainly because they are all gone). All of the endangered species like the Tiger, Lion and Rhino are all protected. We instead are now trying to save as many creatures on the planet without directly injuring or killing them. Safari is the best way to get people on side, or to teach them about some of the problems in the world. Diving holidays have become very popular in the eyes of many governments to try and the marine life before it gets to even worse stages.

Pollution is proving to be another major problem; we may not be shooting these animals anymore. However our actions in the rest of the world are causing damage to the entire environnement. Some people don’t even know that a safari is more than just a holiday, its a massive experience. Kenya safari holidays are a great way to have fun and see the world.

African Safari Travel Are Thrilling Adventures

An African safari vacation is loaded with a hint of danger and adventure that makes it a great family vacation for teenagers.

African travel has traditionally been more popular with Europeans than with Americans. Not only must the Americans travel much further but there are many popular family vacation places to choose from before considering exotic destinations such as the African game parks.

However, many Americans have already done the Disney resorts, visited New York and the other great American cities, and explored the many other popular places to vacation in North America. There is an increasing desire for more unique vacation adventures, and more are looking for a fresh guide to travel destinations around the world.

Many have experienced, among the things to do in San Diego, the San Diego Zoo and the Wild Animal Park, and experienced a taste of what it is like to go on a real African safari. An authentic African safari experience where wild animals are encountered in their natural environment is much more exciting.

There are many types of African safari travel. Those with plenty of money and a taste for luxury can stay in five-star lodges, enjoy gourmet dining and travel in comfort during their visit to the remote corners of Africa. A popular choice for honeymooners is to spend time on a Kenyan tropical beach vacation before or after their safari trip.

There are also African safari packages that are realistic and affordable choices for back packers and budget travellers as well as the average tourist, whether you prefer to travel in large or small groups, stay in lodges or camp outdoors. Different parks in different countries each offer a unique experience as to the travel arrangements and the animals that you will see. It pays to explore the options with your travel agent before deciding which type of Safari and which destination most appeals to you.

Most African safaris these days emphasize the excitement of getting close to wildlife going about their lives in their natural habitat, and taking photographs. You can still play at being Ernest Hemmingway on African hunting safaris in managed hunting parks, but they can be very expensive.

Since you will be outdoors and in remote locations for most of your safari you do need to prepare yourself with suitable clothes, a stock of any medications you may need, plenty of sun cream, lip balm and skin care lotions, photographic equipment to capture the memories, and the attitude that you are going to have fun no matter what the difficulties.
